An ingredient with history
In the Mediterranean diet, dried fruits are much more than a simple try. Since Antigua Greece, our abuelas have been in the field, almonds, piñones, hazelnuts and nueces have been part of sweet and salad dishes, in the soil for their flavor, but also for their nutritional value and their natural conservation capacity.
These small natural treasures were a luxury in times of scarcity, and today they maintain this air of special food, which adds texture, energy and aroma to any recipe.
Taste and health by the hand
Mediterranean cuisine is famous for combining flavor and health, and dried fruits are not the exception. They provide healthy fats, vegetable proteins, fiber and antioxidants, all of which are essential for general well-being. Furthermore, its versatility allows you to include them in dishes, main meals, dishes and salsas without just a little effort.
In traditional dishes such as Andalusian ajoblanco (with almonds), Catalan romesco salsa (with hazelnuts), or Arabic sweets with pistachio, dried fruits are authentic protagonists.

Receta: Dátiles rellenos de nueces y cacao
Ingredientes (10 ud.)
- 10 dátiles Medjoul (o sin hueso, de buena calidad)
- 10 medias nueces
- 2 cucharaditas de cacao puro en polvo
- 1 cucharada de crema de cacahuete (opcional)
- Coco rallado o semillas de sésamo para decorar (opcional)

Primero, abre los dátiles por un lado y retira el hueso si lo tienen. Mezcla el cacao con la crema de cacahuete hasta formar una pasta. Entonces rellena cada dátil con media cucharadita de la mezcla y coloca media nuez encima.
Opcional: pásalos por coco rallado o sésamo.
